Light on words

So lately I have sat down to blog and I have felt light on words. I have been so busy with ministry outreach, life, the kids, and all the stresses that come with it. I have been busy with sick kiddos, kiddos on crutches, sporting events, work, sick kiddos, trips, and not blogging.

Speaking of which... I am late for about 3 things because I have overbooked myself and oh yeah we are out of groceries.

Fall....

In love with all things fall..

In the little moments of our busy lives I am reminded of the glory of God and all of his beauty.

Fall is a wonderful time to see it with all vivid colors and crisp air.

a much needed weekend escape...

We have been so busy lately (I will catch up on a later post) that when a friend suggested a mom/daughter weekend escape I jumped on the chance...

I spent a weekend at the lake

Oh.. it was just such a rough weekend!!

Happy Birthday Mom!!!

Tonight we celebrated my mother's 61st birthday... and I tell you what, I couldn't imagine my life without her!!

She is a wonderful mother and grandmother, she is caring and loyal.

There are so many reasons I am grateful to have her in my life,

but most of all I am grateful she is such a dear friend.

Haunted fun...

So in our fall fashion we had a haunted party last night with the girls...

We had all the fixins

look... Mummy made some mummies!!

We made some crafty clips!!

And decorated cookies...yummy!!

We then had a wonderful time watching scary movies and drinking hot apple cider around the fire!

Ready for Halloween

we are ready for Halloween... my second favorite holiday!

we have had pumpkin twice a week...

we have decorated the house

just for the occasion I have made sure not to dust for the past few weeks

(haven't you ever asked yourself... huh, do I really want to dust off the cobwebs right before I hang up fake ones??)

5th Grade Camp ROCKS

So Chloe had 5th grade camp and I had the wonderful privilege of getting to go too!!

The weather was perfect and we had the greatest time.

It is hard to loose

Chloe made a good speech and I am so proud of her... unfortunatly she did not win.

She cried over lattes and we went and over to a friend's house and stayed up late having a girls night.

We are better now.

the campaign begins

Chloe is running for student council treasurer.

I hope she wins, but if not, I am just so proud she even ran!!
